This week the first task I needed to finish were the price schedules, because they needed to be send to the customer on Wednesday. This was not a problem for me, because the schedules could be made with the help of formulas. In the end I was done with this on Monday afternoon. It was a good task for me to do, because I have learned some new functions of excel.
I also had the task to look up Dutch recruitment agencies specialised in the printing industry. My supervisor asked me to research this, because he could not find them on the internet. At first I had some difficulties with finding the right words to put in Google to get the results I needed. To find out which words I needed to fill in, I looked up some of the companies that do printing for customers and read the story about the company. Then I knew that I needed to type in the words ‘wervingsbedrijf grafische sector’. In this way I got the results that I needed.
I was finished with this in two days and then there was not much for me to do, because everyone was really busy with the amount of work they had. This is because it is the beginning of the month and that is always a busy period. I did not matter, because now I had the time to work on my assignments. I had talked with the persons involved in the sales of the customers’ orders information and the persons involved in the logistic process and the customer complaints for the assignment business processes. I had the notes and the information, but I did not had the time to process it. When I processed the information sometimes I noticed that it was not enough or while I was typing it questions would put up in my head. I made sure that I wrote them down, so I could ask them later. When I did not have enough information, I searched on the internet the factors involved or steps to be taken for the process. Then I read the information and wrote down questions about the information, so that later on I can describe the factors or steps for the company. Maybe they do more or less and explain why they do it this way.
Then I search up the information of the questions that mister Janssens asked on my ‘waarbenjij.nu’-website or in the email. This was very interesting to do, because I have learned a lot about Malta that I did not know. For example about the history, because I could see that Malta had different influences, but now I know which influences and what has happened.

    E. Janssens:

    Dear Amy,
Once again, great reports and a lot of interesting information! Let me focus on the official tasks and assignments this time. The different business processes are very interesting subjects. First you learn to see the structure of each process. And then it starts to get interesting; if questions pop up during and after that stage, you know you are on the right track! Then it really becomes interesting! Looking forward to read your final work.

As for the other reports of this posting, you make me even more interested in Malta!
