2. What is the name, size and location of the business/organisation of your side?
The name of the company I work for is A. Epiphaniou. This is the name of the man that started the company, Andreas Epiphaniou. He started the company in 1982 in Limassol. Every store has someone of the family looking after it. In our store it is Athena Epiphaniou. She comes in a few times a week to check how it all goes in the store.
It is a big company for Cyprus, but if you would put it to a big company in Holland it would be small. The company is big, because most of the stores you see here are very small and they have not one store but more stores in the area. They started out as a professional catering company, but later on they also had household brands. So later on they had a bigger target audience, because they came from the businesses to also the regular people.
The store is located at a main road. This road is always very busy and there are lots of stores that are located at the side of this street. It is in this street, because there are a lot of cars passing by every day. So when they pass by they will see the store. In this way they know where it is located. Also this is the one of the main roads, so if you do not know where the store is exactly it is not hard to find it. The road is close to the high way and that is very handy with the delivery of new products. Because the trucks can come from the high way up to the main road and then they can stop for the store. So they do not have to ride into small streets and do not have to ride that long in the town.
