3 Define the purpose of your business/organisation.

The purpose of A. Epiphaniou is to make profit. They started in 1982 and now they have more stores. They started out as a professional catering company. Then you only have companies as you target group. So later on they also brought in household brands, so that the target group they had got bigger. Because now they also have the regular people in their target group. This is also a way to make more profit. They are also competing in the bigger projects, because they can make a lot of money with these projects. They need to make a plan and then compete with other companies to get the job. They have done this in the past. They have done the airport of Paphos, so they have delivered all the equipment that they needed and installed it also. Another big project that they have is the airport of Larnaca. They will also deliver and install all the equipment that they need there.
Off course they want to be the biggest and best known store in their branch. So they do a lot of their customers to make them happy and to keep them happy. Because if they are happy they keep coming to the store. They always say that the customer is the most important. And that is right, because without their customers they would not have even existed. They are doing a good job with keeping the customers happy. You can see that in the following example. The company has sales persons that go to the hotels, restaurants, bars etc. and when they come there to sell something the owners mostly do not even ask about the price. This is because they know the company and they know they sell good products. Also in the store they have customers that are coming to the store on a regular bases. So they have customers that keep coming back to them.
