This week is a very busy week. This is because we need to prepare for counting all the products in the store. And it was also the first time that the sales persons needed products when I was the morning in the store.
I always go one early morning to the company, so then I will start at quarter past seven or half past seven. I did this because I wanted to see how the mornings were like. In the morning the sales persons always come to the store and have some kind of meeting with mister Stellios. After that they tells us what they need or they leave immediately. Mostly they take products as samples to the customers. When they want that we need to make a credit invoice with all the products on it. This is almost the same as making a point of sales, but you need to type in a different code. So all the sales persons have a different code where they can put credit on. This morning two of the sales persons needed products and Margarita and I collected the products of the list and gave the products with them. Off course when they take the samples with them, they also need to take them back to the store. When that happens you need to make a credit note. That is for the products that are returning to the store. It is very easy to make a credit note, because you just need the code of the credit invoice and type that in the credit note. Then the computer knows the products of the credit invoice and puts them automatically into the credit note. When you save it and print it, the products are back into the computer again.
We also went into the store room of the Asa products, because we needed to rearrange everything. The storage room was a bit of a mess, because nothing had a logical place and some products where not that easy to get from the shelves. There were heavy products that were place on the top shelves. Then my colleagues will never get them out of there, because they are all not that tall and strong. So now they are on the ground. We also have a lot of cutlery in this storage room. All the pieces needed to be wrapped in paper and to put the kind of cutlery and the brand on them. These needed to be wrapped in packages of ten, so then you write for example: ’10 pcs salad fork Gamma’. This took us almost the whole week to get all this done. But it is better to do this, because then next week we can count them easily. The other years they closed the store for four days when they needed to do this, but now they will not close the store. This is because there are not that many customers coming into the store, so we can do the counting when the shop is open.
