Discuss how the experience is or is not meeting

The experience in Malta is meeting up with most of my expectations. The only point was that when I went to Future Focus and we were told what to expect from the company and that we were all dressed properly for our job, this did not meet up with the first experience at the company. Because they told us that we were dressed properly for the companies, I went with the clothes I had on when we had the meeting at Future Focus. When I arrived at the company they had a really strict dressing policy. Everyone was dressed neat and business like with no piercings and jewellery only the watch, so that did not fit with what I was wearing. The next time I will dress neat even when someone tells me that I am dressed good for the company. In this way this will not happen again. It is very important to make a good first impression, so the next day when I came at the company I wore neat clothes and no piercings or jewellery.
For the rest of the experience the expectations I had were a mostly the same, because I had the experience from Cyprus and the stories they told me there. In this way I knew already what to expect. They told me stories about the culture and the lifestyle the people have here. The similarities of the life in Malta and the life in Cyprus are the relaxed way of living, that everyone knows each other, so the news spreads more fast and I think the life on every island has similarities.
I also have experiences that exceed my expectations. I did not expect the company to be so big and that there would be also a factory in it, because I knew that Malta was a small island and therefore I did not think the company would be so big. When I thought of the company I thought of some smaller company near the centre of the city, but they are the biggest printing press company in Malta and they are located more outside the city. Another thing what I did not expect was that the company would be looking to expand to the Netherlands and that I could help them with this. One of the first days in the company they told me about their plan and what I would be contributing. I did not thought they would give me tasks like this with much importance this soon.
